      I would stick the cabbage on the higher end of that paddle and row with it.

          Here's the answer encripted:

          #*&^#$ #($&* #&(#*$&(#*$& #$(#$&#(*$&(*& #&(#$ #@^#%$_$)(%) !^$^%@$! $_a(_)( ~$@@#^%*_()&_*!$%**! *!**!*&* _))($*)&*(& #.

          Sorry, I mispelled "@#$#$#".

          As per Genius's request :-

          ("How about :- Goat eats the cabbage, wolf eats the goat. Put wolf in boat & row across?")

          Of course, this doesn't address the issue of being in a rowing boat with a wolf (not recomended for longevity)......

              Geez, I must think like a 4 year old. I had the answer in my head without even reading the whole thing. Answer sent. (Actually I'd heard this riddle in one of my classes in middle school years ago and figured it out then.)

                Now that you have your goat, wolf, and cabbage on the other bank, don't ask us what to do with them; because you'll get answer.

                  Lets see now ....hmmm.

                  You force feed the cabbage to the wolf and take him across the river.

                  Go back and get the goat.

                  Upon your return the wolf has vomited the cabbage as he is a meat eater.

                  Now all three are on the other side ...a little wear and tear on the cabbage but the job is done.

                    GM - How could you ?? You've just infringed on the cabbage's "freedom" - incarcerated without trial within the wolf's stomach, denegrated it's right to life & insulted the wolf (forced consumation of a non-meat product against it's religion), all in one sentance....

                    Shame on you......

                    Sarcasm/off.......

                    Pretty easy, but maybe I'm getting childish in my old age.

                      the answer is really very easy, but in a practical world it would be best to break up the row boat, start a fire, slaughter the goat, chop up the cabbage, mix em together make a stew & enjoy dinner, then send out the wolf under gov't contract to raid the sheeps' barn for tommorrow nights dinner. & oh yeah you can take a swim in the river for exercise but wait one hour after eating or I'll tell your mother
